I’m a strong warrior and a fierce knight
On both of my shoulders, are my swords of might
Throw me daggers, throw me spears
But don’t throw me that look, which can fatally sheer.
With the roars of my courage, I have conquered lands
I have made great nations, bowed before my hands
My swords are lethal and their edges are sharp
But your eyes are deadlier, it penetrates my heart.
With my robust arms and my sturdy feet
I have won every battle, there’s no defeat
The beast with in me, they say it’s ferocious
But I think it’s your beauty, which is more dangerous.
The pungent smell of war, the fragrant desire
The drive to conquer, the yearn to settle
The glory of winning, the humility of longing
To the empires that fall, to your love I rest my soul

A Day Of Melancholy
I can hear the winds wailing somewhere from a distance
As the leaves of trees flutters, groaning in despondence
Even the sky weeps, and the birds mourn
As I try to dance those memories, to untuned songs.
I am bruised. I am bleeding, by those unseen spears
Struck me through my heart, by someone dear
I feel like I’m drowning, I only want you near
Oh God! Help me! Make my mind clear!
Nostalgic to your arms where I feel I belong
I must face the fact, that you are now gone.
I once saw tomorrow, full of aspirations
As the day becomes darker, they are merely illusions
The street seems desolated, the sun facing west
In your tender arms, where I once find solace
I slowly give up the desire for that sweet embrace
May God grants me peace and let my heart rests.
