I have this eerie dream, as long as I remember.
A dark, secluded place where I wonder
It’s a cave of unpleasant memories
And the air is scented with sorrows and worries.
Struggling to get out and to liberate
A strange shadow stood in front of me
And with his hair-raising voice, he yelled…
“Pass! You fool… and be killed!”
I trembled with horror and fear,
I’ve been his captive for years…
Should I remain enslaved out of fright?
Or courageously die free and fight?
I’ll show him what I got and be tough
‘Cause I’ve been tormented long enough!
And if this battle will bring me my death
Then so be it, I’ll fight until my last breath!
So in the darkness, I try to reach for stones,
But to my astonishment, it is full of weapons
I managed to grab for a sword
And as I raised it, it illuminates!
The demon has been blinded by the light,
So I took my chances and smite will all my might!
The sword pierces his chest and through his heart,
As he slowly fell face down to his demise.
My hands and legs were still shaking with anger,
As I approached the demon that I have conquered
Who is this devil, that has been denying me life?
I was shocked to see…. It was I!
