The Devil's Grin

I gave love but never returned
My effort trashed and I feel burned
As I washed my face, it resonates
The torturing silence reverberates

I’ve been wounded and in agony
Tormenting the fiber of my integrity
I feel reborn vindictive
Seems I want the world to grieve

I felt numb as my good soul ceases
My heart becomes dull and fearless
No questions, I seek no more answers
Creatures of darkness running bare

I was caught off guard and unaware
As voices tease me not to care
It’s too much hate that drives me to sins
As I cry in tears, the devil grins…
(Har! Har! Har!)

Oh yes its amazing!
To survive the wilderness of life
When your principles are getting awry
And you're left adrift in oblivion

Don't wither to the seasons of time
Hold on tight to your staff of faith
Let your shield of patience prevail
This is the moment when the tide will turn

Then the light will split the darkness
And sweet scents will ventilate the air
You have preserved yourself from those moments
When there's scarcity of Love and Faith

You have grouped yourself to those precious stones
Ravishingly sculpted by the hands of time
Let the beauty within you shines through
And your spirit soars up high.

How Would I Begin...?

I want to write something but how would I begin?
I’m sitting in slumber and my pen is leaking
It’s late in the evening, my stomach is aching
As I contemplate, no thoughts coming in

Early this morning, as I remember
I looked at my bills, they seem to simper
My weird visions burst me to laughter
Because they all have to wait a little longer

Ahh, it has been a tiring day
Tomorrow… I don’t know, come what may
May the great Lord bless me before I lay
A little more time, ‘think I can’t stay

But wait, still, how would I begin?
I need to write something before I dream
Ahh, never mind as I slowly lean
I’ll see you tomorrow, goodnight, and sweet dreams!

Garden of Eden

Come fly with me
To the meadows of life
Together, we'll embrace
The yawning of the new dawn

Let the raptures of our heart
Swing to the moods of the winds
And the fire of flame
Lights with vibrant beams

Come sail with me
To this endless stream
Where fishes can fly
And storks do swim

With yours hands on mine,
We'll be forever and then...
May God lead us,
To this Garden of Eden.
