How Would I Begin...?

I want to write something but how would I begin?
I’m sitting in slumber and my pen is leaking
It’s late in the evening, my stomach is aching
As I contemplate, no thoughts coming in

Early this morning, as I remember
I looked at my bills, they seem to simper
My weird visions burst me to laughter
Because they all have to wait a little longer

Ahh, it has been a tiring day
Tomorrow… I don’t know, come what may
May the great Lord bless me before I lay
A little more time, ‘think I can’t stay

But wait, still, how would I begin?
I need to write something before I dream
Ahh, never mind as I slowly lean
I’ll see you tomorrow, goodnight, and sweet dreams!
