Do You Still Believe?

Do you hear the angels sing as the sun peeks through the sky?
Can you feel God’s breath as the wind blows from up high?
That his hands work in so many magical ways
To keep you up and strong through out your days
I believe…

But where is the rainbow promised after the rain?
When its typhoons we face and lots of pains
With faith as big as a mustard seed, I can move mountains
But its not mountains I must move but continents

Would you kiss your enemies feet who blew up your son,
From a never ending battle that no one has ever won?
Would you give your other cheek to a bloody hand,
Who stabbed your father to death for being kind?

The candle’s fire is getting dim
As it gets colder, what would the night bring?
The sinners gather, the angel of death strays
And as the people feasts, the beast will prey

Now tell me if you still believe
That salvation awaits for those who forgive
Do you have courage to lean on something you don’t understand?
And give your life to it knowing you won’t fully comprehend

You were raised to be a leader but are you ready to follow?
Would you give up your sublimity and go down to a shallow?
Are we seeking hard enough or are we refusing to see?
Because we have too much to give in exchange for humility

As years gone by, where did our innocence go?
That as we grew up, we no longer can follow
Because the stakes becomes higher to be sacrificed
Eagerly, the devils wait for his winning prize

The cure has been prepared even before you bleed
The stakes have been won thus to sacrifice is not a need
All you need to do is believe and let your good soul be your guide
Give room to be humble, and set away your pride

As we compete for time, there is only one thing I understand
That love has many faces even here on our battleground
It is not required to have eyes for us to see
The love of the unseen provider that will set our spirit free
